Thanks to the super cool music taste of supermodel Daria Werbowy “one of the most recognizable, acclaimed and beloved supermodels of our time” according to Vogue, The Dead Exs music has been used in her new directorial campaign for the French clothing company Equipment. Dig it. 
Strange Majik drops new single collab with MC Elijah Black “Daddy’s Shoes.”
I discovered MC Elijah Black rapping at The Lesson parties at Arlene’s Grocery in NYC. I wrote the main hook and produced out the track and was thinking about my father’s struggles with money and being an artist. Like it or not, like apples we don’t fall far from the tree. I asked Elijah to bring his perspective to the idea. What he came back with blew my mind. The amazing Felipe Torres came in later and nailed the groove. Give it a spin and please share on social.

New site h1tchr brings people together connecting songs
Have you seen the buzz that h1tchr (pronounced hitcher) is creating online? People all over the world are adding sound alike songs, samples, and cover versions of songs and creating interactive maps of popular music. Its a free site and it only requires a FB login (they only get access to your user ID and profile pic). The inside scoop from us is that it was started by our founder David Pattillo and also offers a really awesome free Spotify app that brings in music credits to Spotify!

The Dead Exs “More Stuff” Official Video Released
The Dead Exs with their friend Danny Miller shot this during their soundcheck at Asbury Lanes in Asbury Park, NJ in summer 2011. The locals joined in the fun and voila….we have a video. Thanks to the Little Lebowski in NYC for dp’s Jesus Quintana suit and Gary Breckheimer who really is The Dude. Jai Mitchell made it all come together in the edit.
